What is Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC)?

The Gujarat Public Service Commission was constituted under article 315(1) of the constitution of India has defined function of the public service commission in which one of the most significant power listed is the power as an advisory. It can give advice to the president and the governors of any state in.


The GPSC Examination conducted recruitment to services & posts under the statethrough conduct of competitive examinations. This is the regular mode ofrecruitment where an examination is conducted followed by an interview.

2. The Deputy Superintendent of Police
3. The District Registrar of Co-op Society
4. The Mamlatdar
5. The Section Officer- Sachivalaya
6. The Section Officer- Vidhansabha
7. The Section Officer- G.P.S.C.
8. The taluka, Development Officer
9. The Labor Officer
10. The Assistant District Register of Co-op Society
11. The District Inspector Of Land Record

There are 3 criteria for GPSC exams:

1) Nationality
2) Age Limit
3) Qualification


Nationality

Must be an Indian citizen


Age Criteria

The candidate's age must be between 20-35 years of age

Note: For SC & ST, there is a relaxation for 5 year and for OBC the relaxation isfor 3 years.
For women in reserved quota, it is ten years and for women in general quota, it'sfive years.


Educational Criteria

Candidates should posses post graduate degree in any field from any of theUniversity incorporated by an Act of The Central or State.
Basic Knowledge of Computer Application
Adequate Knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi, & English


Attempts

Unlike UPSC, there is NO limit.
